Zagreb has a wonderful climate with a convenient geographical position. There are many museums in Zagreb which speaks of the rich history of the European continent.
The Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, an attraction in Zagreb, houses over 400,000 varied monuments and artifacts, collected from various sources. Donation from Ante Mimara Topic made the establishment of the Mimara Museum possible. In 1987 it was opened for public. The museum is housed within a neo-Renaissance palace dating to late 19th century. There are over 3,750 artifacts belonging to diverse civilizations and cultures.
The Museum of Contemporary Art houses a rich collection of contemporary arts of Croatia and other places.
Some of the other attractions in Zagreb are the Telecommunications Museum, the Glyptotheque, Sljeme Mountain, Mirogoj Cemetery, Zrinjevac and other attractions of the city.
